Connect the V2 to either your mobile app or desktop app.
After a connection is made, disconnect your watch from the app, go outside away from tall trees and buildings and start a round on your watch. The watch will search for a GPS signal, once it finds either a nearby course or displays "no courses within 1km" you can go back to the main watch screen and your time should be updated.

now that the v2 isn't supported, is this why the time and date won't update with gps?
