For full functionality — particularly shot tracking — the watch must be worn on your wrist when using GPS + Track mode.
Why Wearing It on Your Wrist Matters
Shot Scope’s tracking system relies on proximity between the watch and the club tags. To accurately detect which club you’re using and capture the shot location, the watch needs to be within 7–10 cm of the tag — something only achievable when worn on the lead wrist during play.
What If I Attach the Watch to a Bag or Belt?
- GPS yardages will still function correctly
- Shot tracking will not work, as the watch will be too far from the club tags to detect them consistently
To ensure accurate shot detection and performance data, always wear your watch on your wrist while playing.
