Will my device work on winter greens and tees?

Due to the temporary and sporadic layout of winter greens and tees, Shot Scope devices will not work with these features. As we map each course by satellite imagery we often cannot see where the Green Keeper has placed temporary greens and tees. Additionally, many winter greens and tees are located on fairways, this causes issues when uploading a round as shot location and lie types are crossed over. Furthermore, as winter greens often change and swap with the full greens, it would require a lot of manual swapping and remapping of courses. We do not currently have the capability to perform this number of daily updates globally.

If your course changes one or two holes in winter, to permanent holes with full tees and greens, then we might be able to map this for you. However, these holes would have to be set for winter and not change for a significant period of time for us to consider mapping these.
